OUR HISTORY

51 North Interiors was founded in 2019 by Kyle Catling, bringing over 17 years of experience in the drywall trade to the forefront of commercial construction. Specializing in steel stud framing, drywall services, acoustical ceilings, and firestopping, the company has established itself as a trusted name in the industry. Kyle began his career in Windsor, Ontario, working with the union Local 494, where he honed his skills in the trade. From there, he moved to Fort McMurray, spending nearly three years contributing to the city’s development, including residential projects and industrial work in the oil sands. Eventually, Kyle settled in Calgary, Alberta, where he launched 51 North Interiors, combining his extensive expertise with a commitment to quality and innovation.
